She had found the recipe on Alain Milliat's website a few days earlier and had shouted a resounding and envious "how good that must be!..." That's when he got the idea for Mother's Day.
This Sunday morning he went to buy flowers, strawberries and the three bottles indicated on the recipe: raspberry nectar, rhubarb juice and mandarin juice. Then with the children they worked in the kitchen, without making too much noise (even if Jules wanted to do a blind test to recognize the smells of the fruits).
The surprise was a real success, and the strawberry nage was pure delight. Seeing the emotion on their mother's face was the greatest recognition for the apprentice cooks.
