A surprise in the kitchen

She had found the recipe on Alain Milliat’s website a few days earlier and let out an excited, “that must be so tasty!” That’s when she had the idea for Mother’s Day. That Sunday morning she went to buy flowers, strawberries and the three bottles from the recipe: Raspberry Nectar, Rhubarb Juice and Mandarin Juice. Then, with the kids, she worked away in the kitchen, taking care not to make too much noise (even though Jules wanted to do a blind tasting to see if he could recognize the smells of the fruits). The surprise was a huge success, and the strawberry soup delicious. Seeing the joy on her mother’s face was the perfect reward for the budding chefs.
