It's Paul's favorite season, when the cherry tree in the garden drops its last flowers, and we can finally have lunch outside.
This Sunday, they invited their best friends who were visiting the area. Their son has grown so much since then. They'll spend hours at the table, chatting and laughing, while the children mill around them: they did well to plan a comprehensive brunch, both light and delicious, sweet and savory, to satisfy everyone.
Paul is preparing his Chemex coffee, his latest find. Chloe has brought her favorite organic jams, Alain Milliat, as well as three beautiful bottles of organic juice. Everything is ready for a healthy reunion.
